Overlooking the Devils Punchbowl, a lake-filled glacial cirque w/ towering cliffs near Gasquet, California.  Here one can see an unnamed lower lake (along the trail) as well as Preston Peak in the backdrop, the high point of the area.  The slopes here were adorned w/ phlox, siskiyou lewisia, tolmie's pussy ears, & sierra stonecrop.
