At the top of Mount Triglav
Slovenia

Triglav is the highest mountain (2864m) in the Julian Alps and Slovenia, near the Italian border. The mountain is a true national symbol and is featured on the national flag. Although its name means "three-headed" in Slovene, it is more likely the mountain was named after the old Slovene god. At the top of the mountain stands the Aljaž Tower named after priest, mountaineer and patriot Jakob Aljaž. It is a storm shelter and a triangulation point.
