Bad Wimpfen - Town Hall at the market square
Baden-Wuerttemberg

Bad Wimpfen is located on the left bank of the Neckar about 10km from Heilbronn. The current spa town was Staufer palace and later imperial city. The Staufer palace is the largest preserved royal palace north of the Alps. Henry VI. was proven three times in Wimpfen, Friedrich II eight times. The panorama shows the town hall. At the town hall façade, four coats-of-arms commemorate different epochs of the turbulent history of the city.
