Donkeys grazing at Hatchet Pond, New Forest
England

Hatchet Pond is a man-made lake surrounded by semi-natural heathland that's grazed by cattle, ponies and donkeys. It is the largest area of fresh water in the New Forest.

The New Forest was declared a royal hunting ground by William the Conqueror in the 11th century. It became a National Park in 2005.
