PERU - Coastal Desert of Nazca - Rock Formation 1
Peru

Walking on a mix of gravel and sand, in the coastal desert of Peru between Ica and Nazca, approaching a strange yellow rock formation that is perfectly aligned in a noth/south axis. This is an extension of the Atacama Desert in Chile, the driest desert on Earth - but the ocean is only 25 km away. The morning mist has gone away and we can enjoy late morning blue sky.
