The Pont de Ferro is an iron bridge over the Júcar river that gave access to the town from Valencia to Xàtiva highway. In 1864 there was a catastrophic flood, at that time the water retention was blamed on the old medieval stone bridge. For this reason, the construction of the new bridge was planned. These works began in 1910 and the metal bridge was inaugurated on December 16, 1917.
