The city of Ourense, as seen from the top of the Milenio Bridge, over the Miño River, in Galicia, NW of Spain.
Inaugurated in 2001, it was designed by the architech Álvaro Varela and the engineer Juan M. Calvo.
It has a walkway that reaches 20 m in height (and about 100 steps), from which you get beautiful views of the river and the city.
Facing East, you can see the "Ponte Vella" (the Old Bridge): this is the oldest bridge in Ourense, and its foundations are from the Roman ages.
