This panorama shows a field of fern on the border of a wood in the nature sanctuary Struffelt-Heide in Roetgen / Rott near Aachen in Germany. This natural preserve belongs to the so called Vennvorland of the Nature-Preserve Hohes Venn Eifel. The boardwalk through the moor and the heath invite to a hiking tour the hole year round.
