Lower Antelope Canyon is one of the many 'slot canyons' in Northern Arizona/Southern Utah. There are two canyons, Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons. The most visited, and photographed, is Upper Antelope Canyon because of its ease of access and, for this reason, it gets very crowded. Access to Lower Antelope Canyon is down ladders and there is a lot of clambering over rocks and some very narrow parts to get through but it is definitely worth the effort.
