Lazar Castle is located in Lăzarea Village, Harghita County, Romania, Eastern Transylvania. The castle was built between the 16th and 18th centuries by the noble family Lázár on a combination of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance styles. Lit by the light of the starry night and the arching Milky Way of may, the castle recalls the mood of the romantic era of counts, knights and fairy tales.
