Fremont Indian petroglyphs on the McConkie Ranch, off Dry Forks Canyon road near Vernal UT. The petroglyphs (chiseled in stone) or pictographs (painted on stone) extend hundreds of feet along a cliff face overlooking the canyon. They are on private land, but the owners have graciously opened them to the public for a small donation ($2/car).
